This piece is a product of a class project in which we produced a sample informational booklet cover for Tesla, wherein the parameters of the assignment were focused on efficient product marketing. My choice of photo is sourced directly from the Tesla official website, and my font selection was inspired by their minimalist and modernist website design as well as overall advertising aesthetics. I chose to keep the focus on the car and the logo rather than the name of the company because I wanted to maintain an efficient message of the goal of advertising the product itself. I decided to compose the layout in this manner because I believe it reflects a proper hierarchy for advertising the product, as well as balance between the product and the details of the booklet. I utilized a centered alignment and balanced the proximity between the title and subtitle, placing the car in the center to create a contrast between all the elements, because I felt this technique best represented the method through which the car could be displayed and advertised most efficiently.
